The Planning Team
The consultant team is made up urban designers, planners, landscape architects, infrastructure and traffic engineers, graphic designers, economists and MIG Inc. in Berkeley California. The team includes Nolte Associates, DKS Associates, Bay Area Economics, Purkis Rose Inc., Square Peg Design and Jerry Haag.
City staff will work with the MIG Team on the design of the public realm between the railroad overcrossing and Harbor Boulevard. Work will include conceptual and detailed street design, urban design guidelines and possible changes to land use policies, and recommendations for improved signage along the corridor.
